2. This equation is linear because its a straight line and its increases at a steady speed. 
3. In five year will be still go at a steady speed at be linear, If  it is five years before it would still be linear as well. 

Application

1. There is no benefits to have an equation for your data. 
2. There is a benefit to making graphs you have a better look and understanding to what the graph is saying and you can see if its linear or not a lot easier. 
3. From both graphs i have learned the Labor and disasters in Chine or the past few years. I have learned that both impacts are linear and will stay that way for years to come.
