Application

1. There is no benefits to have an equation for your data. 
2. There is a benefit to making graphs you have a better look and understanding to what the graph is saying and you can see if its linear or not a lot easier. 
3. From both graphs i have learned the Labor and disasters in Chine or the past few years. I have learned that both impacts are linear and will stay that way for years to come.

I did two contries, Canada and Serbia. Canada has a total population of   34 030 590. The birth rate and death for Canada are   0.01028 and 0.00798. The estimate population for Canada in 2012 was  34 108 860. Serbia had a total population on 7 310 555. The birth and death rate are 0.00919 and 0.01385. Bulgarias Population

Q1) The population for Bulgaria for January 1, 2012 is 7 327 747

Q2) I got the birth and death rate by looking through the graphs on the one site, that Mr. M recommended to use. While looking and guessed what would happen in the future. So that how i estimated how to get the death and birth rate.

The graph is showing the the population of Bulgaria is increasing by an average of 0.4105 every year. 

 

  How do the life expectancy results relate to the population growth of your country? (Were they what you expected?)
 

I thought the population would decrease, because from the research i did a lot of the younger people leave to to other countries like America or some other place in Europe. 

 

Can you explain any possible reasons for this relationship?

 

It is increasing because more people are moving into Bulgaria also people are having babies which is adding to the increase in population.

The discussion between my family and I, was great. We disccused how the compound interest is used and how it is used in real life scenarios. My mom really got the Compound interest formula but on the other hand my sister totally didnt understand what it was. So my mom and I explained what it is and gave an example of how it is used. The one thing i would change is to give more depth into the compound interest so that more people get how it is used.  

Personal CPI pecentages

The percentage increase in 1.1. I got this by dividing 162,978 by 161,468. Then i got1.009351698169297 then i rounded it and i got 1.1 because the 9 is higher then five so the next 0 would become 1.

The answer to this makes a lot of sense and it because of the hint that Mr. M gave use, he said divide the next years estimate total so i did and that's how i got the answer. The number that i got is small but it is correct. Well the table doesn't really show a typical day in ISB but some of the items that people bot would be on the typical week for a middle school or high school.


For me on the table nothing need to be fixed. Everything looks in order and straight. But all we would need to fix is that we need a new camera to take better picture of the things we do in school. 

Percentages and real life problems!!!

1. Me and my mom where at the market, we wanted to buy 3 apples for 500 Dinars. But when we went to pay the clerk said there is a discount 30% off. Then we were like OMG are you serious! So then she did the calculation and said now the price is 150 Dinar. So then we left with big smiles on out faces!! YAH!! 
2. Me and my dad went to a bike shop to buy my self a new bike, the cost of the bike was 300 dolars. But that was with tax its is 20% less so, all we have to pay is 60$.

How i feel about Fraction, Decimals and Percentages!

The way i feel about Fractions is that i can do most of them and that i can confidently do them at my own pace. But the problem might be is that i can not do the fractions fast. Decimals i am confident in and i can do it very well and be accurate. I can get the answer for a decimal quickly. Percentages i have some problem with because of my multiplication but other then that i can do it slowly but i do get how to get the percentage.
